As I am not exempt from the rule just because I'm an Admin, this is my response to the Activity Check, so I am not forced to delete my own account (or to make Jo pull the trigger).

@jo: If someone who is "genuinely active" doesn't reply to this thread, I'm still going to delete their account. Rules are rules. I'm very serious about this.
Everyone has two weeks to respond,which is enough time. The only exception to that is Fierce, because she has something posted in the Hiatus Board explaining that she does not have unlimited computer access at this time.
If another user had something posted to the Hiatus Board, they would also be exempt from this because they let us know in advance that their attendance would be sporadic.
It's not the end of the world to have your account deleted. If you still want to participate on the forum you just make another account and start posting again. It's happened to me before when I have neglected forums for whatever reason and missed an Activity Check. I make another account, say hello to everyone again, and get back in the game.
When an account is deleted, all the posts that that user has made don't disappear. They all stay right where they are. What changes is that they show up as coming from a guest (with the account's username) instead of from a registered member, which means that they cannot be edited. The inability to edit old posts and the fact that your Karma and # of Posts both go back to zero are really the only two negative things about having your account deleted.
